Based on the context and level of overlap, the editorial team assesses similarity reports and
decides if they are acceptable. The editorial board has the authority to reject or withdraw the

blacklisted from any more submissions.

4. Consequences of Plagiarism
The severity will determine the course of action:
a) Minor plagiarism or incorrect citations: If the plagiarism is in between 10% and
15%, the authors will be given a chance to revise the manuscript with the proper
citations and references.
b) Major plagiarism: If the manuscript contains more than 15% plagiarism, it will be
rejected outright. This includes replicating text without giving credit. Additionally, the
author or authors may not be allowed to submit manuscripts in the future.

published, the article already published may be removed. Also, the author/s will
receive a formal notice from the IJTE.
-
5. Author/s Responsibility
The author or authors must submit a properly filled out Copy Right Form (CRF), signed by
the author or authors, declaring that all the content included in the manuscript is their own
original work. Any experimental setups, data, designs, tables, graphs, code, text, figures, and
other content from previously published sources that were used to prepare the manuscript

The manuscript must also be checked for plagiarism in compliance with the IJTE plagiarism
policy prior to submission.

by providing an extensive justification with supporting facts. The editorial board or an ethical
committee may consider reviewing the appeal.
In the event of disputes or appeals regarding plagiarism detection, manuscript suitableness, or
article rejection owing to reviewer/s comments, the Editorial Board will conduct an
independent evaluation, and its decision will be final.
